Snow Fun!

Olivia all bundled up to play in the snow in our yard. Immediately after this photo she requested to go in because it was too cold and wanted to warm up with some ice cream!

Olivia loves to go sledding, but her knowledge of sledding has always included someone pulling her around a flat surface in her sled. On MLK Jr. Day I got out of work early so Andy suggested we hit the slopes of Dead Man's Hill, the ideal sledding spot in Sturgis. Olivia had a ball as did daddy! I decided it probably wasn't in my list of activities to do at 28 weeks pregnant so I only went down once.

This was her favorite rut to go down over and over again.

A Feyes Christmas

Christmas afternoon was spent at Andy's parents house opening gifts, stuffing our faces and napping (myself included in the nap time). The following evening Aaron and Christy made the trip up from Southern Georgia and we got to celebrate again with them. Olivia was very excited to have them here for a few days of fun. While they were here we enjoyed a trip to Shipshewana, lots of board games, and again eating too much.

Olivia posing with her painting she made for Nana and Papa Christmas morning.

A marvelous item Olivia found in her stocking brought to our house from Grandpa McNeil, happened to be silly string. I knew I didn't want this at my house, so we decided to take it to Nana and Papa's and get Uncle Aaron with it. Uncle Aaron, Aunt Christy, Nana and Papa all got it pretty bad. Olivia did too, but she didn't find that quite so funny. I don't think Nana found it funny either, but Papa sure got a kick out of it.

Not the best family photo, but that's what you get with a timer, tripod, full bellies, and a daughter past nap time. At least we were all together.

One of Olivia's favorite Christmas gifts was from Robert. It's a little Star Wars laptop game. She has to identify letters, shapes, numbers and all sorts of things. I can't believe how many more letters she knows already. As you can see she was enjoying playing it Christmas morning with Robert.Posted by Picasa
