You read right folks! It's a girl! Big sister Olivia is proud to introduce her little sister and newest member of the Feyes' family, Vada! We picked Vada up in Howell, MI today where she weighed in at 13 pounds 8 oz. She is just an adorable little thing. She cried for a few minutes in the car home, but other than that just snuggled up on either Olivia's or my lap and slept. If anyone is wondering as to the origin of Vada's name, Olivia technically named her. She wanted to get a black Neapolitan Mastiff and name it Darth Vader. We agreed, but wanted a girl so we decided we'd call her Vada to add a little feminine flare to it. 11 years ago today, Andy and I had our first date. We saw Titanic so for those of you who don't know, the ship sinks. We decided to celebrate this special day by bringing a new member into our family.
Here she is sleeping on her bed at home, and Olivia had to have her use a princess pillow as well.
Stopping for a potty break on the drive home. No accidents in the car!
Vada climbed off my lap into Olivia's car seat and snuggled up there for about one hour. The picture isn't that great, but it was priceless to see. Olivia said, "Vada likes me the best!"

When I read the title my heart sunk, thinking you had the baby this early! I'm glad it's a puppy and not the baby in the belly! She is adorable! I can't wait to meet her in person, but as you wrote on my blog, it will be awhile! Keep the pictures coming!
Also, Happy 11 years! Holy crap that's a long time!
